Above Knee amputation @ SOL

With a young active amputee it is extra important to use a socket technology that provides a comfortable, light and safe leg/socket interface with superior stability control. In this case we used a Seal-In liner with a movable sealing ring to create vacuum in the socket. This girl also uses a micro processor controlled knee which makes walking up and down stairs easier as well as walking in rougher and sloping terrain. The knee will "learn" her walking style and make walking smooth and efficient. She is also provided with an energy storing foot. This leg becomes like a part of her self - easy to put on and take off with maximized performance stability and balance.
